Dead by Daylight Patch Notes 6.6.2

Features

Killer: The Skull Merchant

Base power changes:

The Skull Merchant gains a Haste Status Effect that is determined by the amount of Survivors detected on the radar.

This bonus is flat and is not affected by any other factors.

If no Survivor is detected on the radar, the Haste Status Effect is lost.

One Survivor : +3%

Two Survivors: +5%

Three Survivors: +6%

Four Survivors: +7%

The player does not need to be inspecting the radar to receive this bonus.

If the Claw Trap hack is failed, the battery of the trap will not recharge.

The Claw Trap batteries will not recharge when entering an active zone.

Drones will only return to the Killer after the battery of the respective Claw Trap is empty.

Survivors who perform a fast pallet vault while trapped by a Claw Trap will trigger the trap and break the pallet simultaneously.

Claw Traps will also be automatically removed when their battery runs out.

The Ultrasonic Trap Speaker effect reduces the time for the Undetectable status effect to take effect by 50%

Addon changes

If a Survivor with a Claw Trap is nearby, drones become unhackable.

The rarity of the "Expired Batteries" addon has been increased from Very Rare to Ultra Rare.

The rarity of the "Prototype Rotor" addon has been decreased from Ultra Rare to Very Rare.

The Adaptive Lighting addon has been increased from 20% to 50%.

The Expired Batteries addon has been decreased from 150% to 40%.

Miscellaneous

Leverage perk was stated to not work on self-healing, but it actually does work on self-healing and continues to do so.

Scream sounds caused by certain Perks are now heard map-wide, as they were before version 6.6.0.

Bug Fixes

Audio

A problem in the Archives has been resolved, which caused the French voice-over of Memory 714 in Tome 13 to stop abruptly before completion.

Another issue has been addressed, where The Trapper character in a game failed to initiate a voice-over when a Survivor escaped his grab.

Bots

Bots in the game can now request other players to move out of their way.

A potential issue has been addressed where Bots would shut themselves down when hit by an Artist's Dire Crow.

Bots will no longer stop moving after passing a Dream Pallet while playing against Freddy Krueger with the Dream Pallets Power.

Bots are now able to disable Drones placed on stairs when playing against The Skull Merchant.

Overall, several improvements have been made to enhance the Bot gameplay experience in various scenarios.

Characters

A bug causing Yun-Jin and some female survivors to have different faces while on the hook has been fixed.

The Nurse's Grim Veil on the tally screen has been updated to prevent it from stretching unnaturally.

Male survivors grabbed from lockers no longer have stretched eyebrows due to a resolved issue.

Perks

Triggering the Skull Merchant Claw trap while fast vaulting a pallet as a Survivor will no longer activate the Thwack! Perk.

The Merciless Storm Perk will no longer cause subsequent skill checks to fail after failing one skill check.

These fixes aim to improve the game's mechanics and ensure that Perks and effects work as intended without unintended consequences.

Killer - Skull Merchant

Drones will no longer display the scanning VFX for one frame when starting the scan phase.

Claw-Traps removed by hacking will now self-destruct correctly, rather than disappearing.

UI

The positioning of Perk description tooltips has been fixed in the Edit Bot Loadout menu.

The 'Shotgun Speakers' add-on icon has been corrected to avoid triggering trypophobia.
